I think what you posted made a lot of sense. However, think on this, suppose you were to write a awesome title? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website, but suppose you added a post title that grabbed a person's attention? I mean New Discussion - Max Excel & Financial Modelling is a little vanilla. You could look at Yahoo's home page and see how they create post titles to get viewers to open the links. You might add a video or a related pic or two to get readers excited about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it would make your posts a little livelier.
