In a recent podcast I did with Ken from the Prepper Podcast we talked about grid down scenarios and what we will do about them. Right after that podcast I decided to build my own DIY portable photo voltaic generator. My plans are to construct a photo voltaic generator that can run my properly pump in a grid down occasion, and while this generator does not have the ability to continually run it, I've set it up to have the ability to scale up fairly easily. Keep in mind as you read this I am no expert, as a matter of fact I had very little data aside from photo voltaic panels collect energy, ship it to the battery and you'll turn on a gentle. Now that I've performed this I have a greater thought about watts, amps, volts and what makes it all work together. There are quite just a few article about how electricity works, and generally it’s an excessive amount of info for my mind to absorb (repercussions of a misspent youth I assume), so I am going to keep this article a simple as potential and hopefully all of it is sensible to you at the top.
